"Despite
intense media coverage of the tragedy, the unique experiences of
children were not reported, or given voice. In a new display, Children
Speak: Tsunami, a collection of artwork by child survivors of the 2004
tsunami portrays the children's perspective of the disaster, their view
of the world and the resilience of the human spirit. The hope and power
of humanity are expressed through the eyes of these courageous children
and their art."
